It's a blessing to know someone really well. But its equally horrible if you betray that trust. Lack Of Direction

Primarily i want to thank all of my readers. New and Old every single one of you make me want to keep finding things to talk about. Individuality is a scary issue that our culture is facing. Originality is another sub-section id like to address. And last but not least where we stand. Individuality is being yourself and designing yourself through grown, education, choice and influence. As far as saying your your own person is somewhat a false statement. Let me break it down. You are the compilation of the surroundings, people, music, fashion everything that your life  encompassed all into one. You are the beautiful mix of what you chose was the best of everything. These days there is a lack of that individuality. The same music is what interests us, the same fad, clothing company, shoes... We follow the same trends as the next person. "Trying to keep up with the jones'" if you will. We spend money on some shoes, phones, laptops, even the clothes to be considered a "somebody" with swag or what have you. Thinking about it I still can't remember what and where it sprouted from but it did. The relevance to this topic is what life goals everybody has. Today if you ask any few random few hip-hop heads they'll tell you they're releasing a mixtape... Ha I mean let's be honest everybody wants to rap or go pro in a sport of some sort. Im not tryna knock it but I question why you want to be a rapper. It's hyped up way past what is important in my opinion. The money is always a plus I get that but people fail to realize that you lose privacy, your put on a constant schedule of what needs to be done, and the lifestyle doesn't slow down. Thinking about it; it makes sense why Kurt did what he did. You begin living THE life instead of your own. I often feel people choose that music as a choice because they listen to so much they feel they can do it. Unless you have a purpose your fulfilling or a piece of inspiration that will make the generation rise why are you trying to make music. The hip-hop is at a great place don't get me wrong its making a stronger resurgence. But there is the lack of activism, design, positivity in the music. In the words of Kanye "Niggas be writing bullshit...so thats why another dance track dance track gotta hurt."Todays music lacks the message that the latter generation derived their success from. Todays music has shifted to putting more emphasis on the materialistic aspect of things, the next dance step, the type of clothes that is considered to be "swag". As much as its aspirational to hear the next rapper talk about wearing an audemar or a hublot, driving around in a maybach but unless you as a reader has a six hundred thousand lying around wake up and if you do why the hell are you reading this? Its the reality of things that people lose sight of when they listen to music. Im human i get wanting to get away from reality but when you start thinking like you are making millions yet your still only getting paid 8.75 an hour. you've lost sight of reality and fantasy. I feel thats where the issue lies. The design of what individuality is to do your own thing regardless of what the next person or your friends or family is doing. I was watching a documentary about Tupac today and I realized that the reason why Pac was so arrogant and vicious as a person was his view of the society he lived in. I was telling someone that the music industry has lost the luster of what made music so great. The love for it, the story that made this song, the pain that made music so connectable. By now i feel I've strayed away from the topic at hand but let me assure you i haven't it will come back full circle. Here is how i feel the cycle goes... You hear a certain song or find a certain infatuation with a certain artist, you try to imitate that style, you try to follow in their footsteps, and then you design and plan your life in such a way they did. It becomes so simple to be like someone else. Thats the easiest way to do anything... COPY IT. Let me go back and explain why i feel its important to call people out on bullshit and I'm gonna get some shit for this but FUCK IT. Its become so taboo to say something against somebody because you feel that way. If you tell somebody something isn't the way you feel it should be its taken way out of proportion or considered racist. Honestly thats insolence to the highest degree. If something was wrong you'd want somebody to let you know that s the divine plan even if you don't think so it is. Nobody got anywhere without the help of somebody else. Even the iconic leaders we learned about  became so great because they had a following that felt the same way. As any great leader or successful person you know didn't come up or find success from imitation. You have to find your own niche in society. That a little bit more or a challenge to become your own person. Individuality is a struggle to find amongst this generation. The second topic i feel that needs to be addressed is originality!! As it may sound like the same thing there is a slight difference. Its the topic your pertaining to. Individuality dealing with a person differentiated from a group and originality or having its own origin not being derived from previous existence. I wish it was mandatory to be original to be existent. I haven't been around for too long but I've been around and i know enough that everything is taken from each other... computers, phones, software, people. I question for lack of better knowledge why people can't do their own thing. Why aren't we able to stand on our own instead of following along with everybody else. On another note and this is important. I hate when people generalize an entire gender, race or group based on your own views. I will let you know with little to no remorse that your stupid. And the reason i say this is because there is an issue of bitter women that generalize the entire male gender because of your own mistake or shitty judgement. Your fault for falling for somebody who decided to hurt you. But heres the positive... not every guy is after "getting some". That the general understanding that most women have about guys. Not to bash women guys are just at fault. With the amount respect guys treat girls with you shouldn't have testicles. As much as certain people's demeanor demands for them to be treated so low the good women should be treated with what they deserve. Chivalry isn't dead it just isn't as important as it used to be. Dating is more casual and much less a serious ordeal. My last little bit about this is about people who don't make the same effort in a friendship, or acquaintance. I take my time to do stuff for people and i don't ever expect anything back but don't question me  what happened when i stop. I know I'm not the only person that goes through this. Have enough courage to tell somebody straight up your not gonna make the same effort anymore or its not worth the time  Trust me they'll appreciate it. '' 


In conclusion, Its never too late to become your own person. Have your own style, do your own thing, find yourself and become an individual others want to role model themselves after. Become original and come up with your own ideas. Become equal and broaden your horizons. Or live in your little box. Either way. Change the world if you don't somebody else will. There is so much potential in every single reader and every other person that isn't reading this (Give them the link though) you just have to find it and make the change. Where do you stand? Fashion Lives

Its been a while since I've dropped a post. Just been sick and had school to take care of. Today I'm back with some new material that is important in culture today. With no further a due I present to you Garren Thomas 

I never thought that i’ll be living in a day and age where fitting into the popular culture group means more than self individualism when pertaining to fashion. In general, it seems that the youth that comes from my generation and its predecessors self-motivation level to strive for originality have definitely hit an all time low in America. This is not just concerning fashion but also pertains to their ear for music, lifestyle, and behavior that I have witness while interacting with my peers. I have some ideas of how the youth have gotten to this point so far which may include; a high level of insecurity within themselves, lack of love and security being provided for them due to upbringing in a broken-family or NOT, and a lack of moral and conduct knowledge that I’m starting to witness more and more everyday. Whether you connect the dots or not these elements effects a person attitude, appearance, and presentation to the world. When dealing with fashion, the way a individual steps out of his or her place of residence says more than words can ever speak. Clothes have the potential to express everything from the mood of a person to the tax bracket in which they are in. Sometimes I wonder if fashion is losing that ability due to the fact that people is not going the extra mile to express themselves in a different manner with the clothes that they put on their backs. Its obvious that folks are comfortable being recognize as a follower rather than a leader or trendsetter. 

The reason why America criticize artist’s fashion taste like Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne (to name a few) on social media for the way they dress is because the general public created this atmosphere where being yourself and different is NOT ACCEPTABLE! The simple and close-minded mentality of “if I don’t like it, it sucks” have been keeping people maturity level from ever reaching its peak for the longest of time now. I’m pretty sure artist around the world including the ones I mention inspires little people like myself to continue to carry the torch for the unusual look and self-satisfaction in the way a individual dress. Thats why FASHION LIVES.
