Honor and Respect

This blog is needed in my opinion for many to read. Honor & Respect has become something of a rarity in our society. We claim to be "real" with no concrete understood connotations behind the word. Personally it's like the words "swag" it's used behind nothing of ultimate value. In our generation and the ones after ours I see so much disrespect of elders, colleagues and people we don't even know. These kids are disrespecting people that paved the way for their civil liberties and know nothing about them. But any rapper you ask about they know birthdays, next album, who their married to... Is this what society is really becoming?? We can't honor those that precede us if we dont know what they did. You can't blame the rappers necessarily it's not their fault entirely but none the less. We don't put an emphasis on what's important any more. But back to what I was eluding to. Honor and respect. These two things will get you through life or get you killed. Life isn't simple but it's simple enough. Be honest and work hard respect those that deserve it and demand it by their demeanor not by their words and honor those that deserve it. More retrospectively our generation is ignorant or better yet oblivious what we need to know and follow media to be our guides of what's right and wrong. Kim K gets married for 72 days, Justin Beiber closed down the staple center for dinner and a movie, the NBA Lockout. These ideas of glamour and gloss is more important to us then the Occupy WallStreet movement? Some who will read this won't give a damn or even get this far in. I grew up in a society where you respected each other and honored those that were the place of it. Honor is more than a word it's a lifestyle. Live honorably that's the hardest feat I believe we have to accomplish. We all want the easy road to success, money, power and fame. But are these ideas what have been the driving force of success for these other wealthy elite? Live your own damn life based on what you feel is the best path for you to take what ever that may be. Be prepared for any consequences that you may face for your decision. The moral of the story is learn some damn respect and live life of honor and respect.

As I scramble to leave for class I leave you with peace and love and RESPECT.

Honor yourself and your body. It's a temple don't throw it away to just anyone.
